We didn't avoid falling into the same trap as America, we took a step towards it. Next election you'll also "have" to vote liberal to keep out the conservatives. They'll be told they "have" to vote conservative to end 15 years of liberal rule. If that conservative leadership race used our federal voting system he would have become the leader with just 28% of the vote. Several years later PP got in anyway. I’d love to see more greens, more libertarians, an indigenous party, people representing what Canadians want coming into a room and figuring out what at least half of them can agree on.
