Writing introduction

OMG, you write romance featuring disabled ppl😭😭 The few times I see that, they end up dying or being magically cured, but on the whole we are so often seen as children or neutered 😅 I currently have a partner, but in the past, my disabilities scared so many people off. Now that I am with someone, people actually have a hard time believing it: “Someone like YOU can get a boyfriend??”

So yeah, I am here for this representation 🙏🏽

eee this is amazing! A blind friend of mine was just saying that a push towards representation could really help people potentially see her as a nuanced person, and one who deserves a full life, star power, and love😍 I can’t wait to tell her about this!

my reading has actually been all across the board lately (bc I love genre hopping & bc I’m training back up after a neuro disorder left me w literacy/processing difficulties). I’m personally struggling to find a satisfying romantic read & have never felt capable of writing it properly — I think I have a hard time connecting to them, even if I enjoy myself. But Bernadine Evaristo is my current jam😂 Honestly, what you focus on in your romance is more of what I would like to see!
