Wow, it’s kind of nuts how a redraw of a character can look radically different.

I feel like I did a pretty good job of capturing a Sierra look-and-feel for the second sprite. Anyway, here’s my sad fisherman. #PixelArt

Two sprites of the same character: before is on the left, after is on the right. The original version is a bit more round in shape and a little more cartoonish-looking: he's wearing a straw hat and overalls. The second character, on the right, is dressed more like a traditional fisherman, and is depicted with a leaner build, a more blushed complexion, and more distinct shading.
