@Friendica Support - Has anyone worked on an alternative frontend for Friendica? I just realized that #phanpy, for example, seems to work quite well, and so does @Mona app

Yet the mastodon feature set is less than friendica’s - for example events and the calendar.
I was thinking that maybe someone has made, e.g. a fork of a mastodon frontend and added the missing features the friendica api offers. Is there a friendica api for all features, or is that hard coded in the theme code?
@Daniel de Kay @Friendica Support @Mona app if you are looking for an alternative web front end you can use pl.mkljczk.pl It doesn't have as many features as freindica, but it is faster so I use it anytime my instance is getting slow and the admin hasn't hit the reset button in a while. (or at work now that IT has decided to block libranet.de, yet facebook.com is still fine)

Correct. The "Mastodon" apps do not support Friendica's advanced features.
Friendica provides its own API. These are used by, among others. Raccoon and Relatica.
