Bro have you done anything with Surge? Free open source synth that is honestly insane. The main guy who worked on it also has a few other plug-ins and he cares a lot about accessibility. It's one of the few synths that's nearly entirely fully accessible using a screen reader.

@ZBennoui I installed an early version of it in like, 2019 or so, but haven't looked at it yet. I have heard good things, tho. If a bunch of people were interested, I'd def consider doing some coverage of it -- maybe a comparison with Pigments!
