Interesting: it seems many foreign companies are leaving Russia not for the right reasons (come on, we’re talking about corporations here, is anyone surprised?) but because they cannot get insurance.

that, and probably because it is becoming increasingly difficult to get revenue in and out of Russia (god ask me how I know :') and the shipping is also isn't doing too well..

Them doing the right thing for the wrong reasons is ok by me tbh.

And it shows that things like environmental regulation really can be effective if we get creative about methods the same way, too, instead of trying to regulate or influence corp behaviour directly (which can lead to lobbyist bloat and possible regulatory capture in ways indirect can circumvent.)
