The thing is, even if the guy was great and exemplary on all regards, lots of money means lot of influence and power. For people who believe in democracy, billionaires should not exist *on principle*, because even if perfect equality (or even equity) is impossible, the level of inequality associated with the existence of billionaires is just unacceptable.

Reminder: if someone with $1B was spending $1/s (that's $86,400 per day!), it would take them almost 32 years to spend it all...
