I think this can work on Debian 13, but Debian 12 Uses GLIBC version 2.36. Huh. So unless y'all flatpacked in 2.38 or somethin' I'm not sure.

interesting, I built it in Debian so that versions of libraries would be as compatible as possible. Does it work for you from the source version?

oh yeah, source was easy as heck to get going for sure, just did the virtual env, installed requirements TXT and it runs with Pygame 2.6.1 without issue then.
