PostNL now supports sending parcels using these machines. Except that it needs your PostNL-ID, a QR code produced by the app with 5 minute validity. Quite bad luck for a machine situated in floor -2 of a parking lot without any mobile coverage.
So you jump quickly up to the street, get a fresh QR code, store the parcel and… it will ask you for another QR code with your e-mail address which is again not available when the app is offline. 😱

He would rip you a new one without any insults, but you would end red to your ears of embarrassment.

2005: give me your password.
2015: add a two-factor authentication.
2025: add a 5 minutes timeout.
2035: just make it 100% unusable. Congratulations, your service is 100% safe now!
