Hi I need #cargobike encouragement. I'm looking to buy an original #yuba spicy curry. Problem is the Currie middrive motor is not supported anymore. Does anyone have experience converting that model to a third party middrive motor like bafang?
ahh, ok. Henry is the first person I think of in seattle when it comes to aftermarket motors. Most of the old hats that used to work on them switched to Bosch and haven’t looked back
Don't know the answer, but I ended up buying used bike from Upway.co, and inventory varies and sometimes they have good deals. So if you fail at upgrade path, might be able to get something that meets your need with some patience.
@jpanhans Thanks. I reached the same conclusion. It's cool that someone is making those. I wish there was a bigger and more accessible market with different adapters. I wish #yuba sold those for their defunct bikes.
