I use @disroot and duckduckgo for email and masking, @filen for cloud storage, ublock and noscript for cleaning up browsing experience.
And looking for no-tracking notes app and writing app with cloud backup.

thanks for response! so I've whitelisted "reddit.com", "redditmail.com", and "reddit@reddit.com". After several requests for verification emails (in the reddit app), I got nothing... You're my last hope!

@cunyxa Please contact tech support at hello@tutao.de - also try to contact Reddit, they might have stopped sending to your address due to too many attempts.

Much of what is recommended here is only not "big tech" by virtue of begin fledgling. FOSS alternatives would be even better, from organizations with a demonstrated commitment to user privacy and safety. AdGuard, in particular, is suspect (Russian owned company), as is DeepL.

I also recommend using as much as possible @Mojeek as search engine. It's not perfect, but I hope they will continue to improve.
