Subject: Another thank you

I have been reading your blog on-and-off for a few years, and I recently followed you on LinkedIn, and saw your post about the "thank you for your existence" email, and decided to add a thank you of my own.

I think it's easy for people with IT knowledge to take FOSS for granted, and while I try to express appreciation for the people whose work I rely on when talking about it, I realized I've never thanked anyone who works in more well-known FOSS projects that I use.

I'm an amateur developer with a cybersecurity degree, and I've been singing the praises of curl and your approach to running the project to anyone who'll listen - it's an incredible and important project, for sure, and I'm grateful for everything you and its various contributors have done.

The fact that you've led this project for so long, and written code that has run on tens of billions of devices, on multiple planets, is nothing short of amazing, and I would like to echo the sentiments of that previous email I mentioned.

Thanks for everything you do for the internet.
