When I was in the UK for the first time 22 years ago it was a cultural shock for me that I couldn't freely walk in the countryside. Here you can trespass if the property isn't fenced. It's an invaluable human right.

@sesivany that's one of the most positive surprises I had about the Czech countryside. We go off-trail hiking all the time for mushrooming and even camping.

As a kid in Brazil we loved exploring the forests around but twice my friends and I were shot at for "accidentally trespassing" unmarked land.
