@jaanus I hear you. I've poked on it a little and it should soon be using a lighter red for the comments and a yellow version instead of the rather dark blue for function names.
mkexam.pl now converts the enscript output from using hard-coded font color values to instead use with specific class names for different code sections.

But I checked out the site and found that the contrast/readability/accessibility of comments is not great in dark mode with minimum brightness
Red-on-black comments here are not really readable
Code and everything else is fine and has good readability and contrast, even with minimum brightness
Comments are also fine in light mode
Maybe you want to improve comment accessibility in dark mode. Not sure how big a deal it is
