With the launch of our new post-quantum #encryption your data will now be safe from "Harvest Now, Decrypt Later" tactics. 👨‍🌾🔓

Find out all the ways the #NSA can get at your data and how Tuta Mail protects you! 👉 https://tuta.com/blog/post-quantum-cryptography

This approach is often taken by government agencies like the NSA or #FBI in order to decrypt encrypted messages once the #technology is available. 🕵️

in reply to Tuta

Our new encryption stops this approach in its tracks. By making the switch your data will be secure now & in the future from the prying eyes of government surveillance. 👀

Strong encryption is the foundation of Tuta & for many of our upcoming projects like TutaDrive & email import. Now we can roll up our sleeves & focus on introducing new features to make Tuta even better!

Privacy must be forward looking & that's why we're here. Let's keep making the internet better together ✊

We're expecting TutaDrive; now, ProtonDrive only provides the basic functionalities.

@mysignal Don't worry TutaDrive is on the way, stay tuned 😀

i was tryed to make account anonymously by tor but rejected by tuta :blobpats: why i could not? Thanks
in reply to iuvi

@iuvi Sometimes Tor needs to be blocked as spammers try to sign up via Tor. Can you sign up normally? We don't track IP addresses anyway.

please reconsider your usage of ALT text.

I've observed you commonly just copy paste the post content, while the alt text should describe the picture it is attached to. The way you use it doesn't help the visually impaired at all.

@D0T1X Thanks for letting us know! We will change this in the future.

but my data is still vulnerable against simple plain old MitM as described here: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=38175307
https://github.com/tutao/tutanota/issues/768

And you do nothing to fix it for years! Isn't that a one big honeypot?
