@pemensik 1. ngtcp2 is a QUIC library so it would not be used for that. 2. We don't see a strong demand for DoT so probably not.

@pemensik Expect to see more demand for DoT and DoQ next year after the DELEG work in the IETF is standardized. There's no need to start prepping now, though.

does curl have also some explicit support for client cert key authentication? OpenSSL allows pkcs11 token usage. Does it have common interface for other crypto backbends too? It could implemented crypto by pkcs11 module library in theory.
