Using 1000 for Memory like people do it for vegetables looks always like a marketing trick. Just a way to sell me less Memory For the same price. And it works. At just 1TB they embezzling 99511627776 Bytes.

kilobyte = 1,024 bytes
Now, we are supposed to use
kibibyte = 1,024 bytes
kilobyte = 1,000 bytes
But, uh, I always forget to use kibibytes, mebibytes, etc.
