I try to promote FOSS software. so :

NO, i will do not use Zoom to share meeting with you.

How can you promote thunderbird and use Zoom?

in reply to Le Geant Jaune

@GeantJaune We're planning on switching to a dedicated Jitsi server. There has been a lot on our team's plates last month and this month, and so we haven't been able to prioritize this the way we would have liked to. We hope you'll join us once we've made the switch!

Yes, please add a general disable option for the horrible Threaded View that is the default.....
I'm now using BetterBird as I think Threaded View is just utterly disgusting.
in reply to Angela Scholder

Angela, using adjectives like "horrible" and "disgusting" to talk about a developer's hard work isn't a polite or productive way to get results, and it's just not very nice.

Please keep this in mind going forward. We're sorry Thunderbird isn't working out for you right now, but hopefully you'll check back in with us later in the year and see if it suits your needs better.

Well, that was my feeling after being a Thunderbird fan for many years, disabling Threaded View in many folders, one folder at a time, to then find twice that after the upgrade to a newer version Threaded View was back everywhere.

And just give me a very good reason why?
Or why there is no option to chose Threaded View or just to disable it?
That's when you get frustration!
Even with Google you can choose. With Thunderbird it was suddenly the default..

And by the way, these adjectives have nothing to do with the brilliant work done by many, just solely only on a chosen default!
