Just to show how hard it is for a no-name artist to get streams, that's a track from my first ever album released back in wait for it... 2009.
I'm not bitching, honestly I'm not. It's all good. I'm just pointing out that music isn't like modern social media, it's hard to be noticed unless you really are a very big somebody.
It took that track, which is just one of 19, 16 years to get to that point.
I have a small following, so imagine people that sink their life's work into making music, posted it when I did and barely break 10 plays? This does happen.

in reply to Andre Louis • • •Speaking of 16, today is Jake's 16th, so that's exciting. Some of you may remember the recording I posted at the time of his first cry. What a day that was. Making himself known to the world (very loudly I might add) at 6:58 local time and not being much quieter since.
