In related news, I regret not building "mad guitar skills" while I really had the chance. It's probably too late now. I kept getting distracted by far too many other things.

Yeah, get the pain of learning the new instrument at a later age. My good right hand certainly helps a bit with the piano, but the left one is stubborn and the coordination is just not the same. people say "you sound good", but my understanding of sounding good is different from theirs, so there... Still, I think it's much fun to learn other instruments...
