I stopped contributing a while ago. When I started seeing ads in it, I was done.

Organic Maps is based on @openstreetmap, which is a kind of big map database. It's like Wikipedia, but for maps. Everybody can freely contribute to it. And mostly, it's way more accurate than Google Maps.
Official website : osm.org (creating an account is free)
Qwant maps : maps.qwant.com (like Google maps in your browser)

(and unlike Google, it's 100% privacy-friendly)

And OSM itself doesn't handle pictures or reviews of places, but if that's what you are after, there's some integration with @mangroveReviews in @MapComplete .

Pretty empty for now, but I reviewed some 8 or so places recently :)
