YES!

I feel like I see more and more sensible decision from the EU on technological issues these last few years. That is truly heartening.

sadly it didn't really axe the entire shit nor aimed to prosecute those that want to betry freedom and human- as well as civil rights that openly!

#ChatControl isn't #backstabbing but open and public #HighTreason!

Here's an example of why we need encryption: I tried to email a Java-based installer to a friend for testing. Google wouldn't let me send a JAR file (ostensibly to protect users). I tried a processional-association account and that didn't work - it forwarded messages to Google. Finally I encrypted it, providing the password in the message. It would be better to use GPG/PGP: encryption to bypass Google + a digital signature to show it was really from me.

That's great news. I can't believe they actually considered chatcontrol at some point. It's such a stupid, STUPID idea!
