I work for a national telecommunications company to help ensure accessibility across web and mobile. I code for leisure, fun and accessibility.
I geek out on sci-fi movies and am constantly reading.
I enjoy the odd game here and there.
I watch comedy with my wife, horror with my daughter, and more serious scary stuff with the dog.
I listen to classical when working, and scare off cats to pop, showtunes and country when tidying.

is there something I can do on my #iPhone to stop particular apps notifying me unless I've used them in the last so long?
Just Eat, uber and Amazon are the prime contenders for #notification bloat.

I suggest turning off notifications for those apps.

@frog67 :) yes, that's the obvious thing to do! But then I wouldn't know about arriving drivers or deliveries, you see?

Now I understand your dilemma: not sure what else you can do, as I don't think it's possible to silence some kinds of notifications and keep others for the same app!

@frog67 I know iOS has increased the options for focus and there's a lot you can do with shortcuts. My ideal solution would have the apps allowed to send notifications for an hour or whatever after I last used them.
But perhaps APPLE DON'T WANT TO ALLOW THAT
