Listening to @andrewgreenway.bsky.social talk about Service Standards (and the Service Manual). I think the Service Standards/Manual/Assessments have been a huge force for good over the years in the UK (and elsewhere) - though like he says they are a bit frayed at the edges now!
I do think (and I've said it before) that it all needs a refresh - or at least a formal reflection. It has been a decade plus and there is too much dogma now. We (and I'm part of the problem) failed to be agile about it all - we missed out on the interate, iterate, iterate element! #fwd50

I love how much great work is being done on open government in BC. I think they are leading the rest of Canada, although, watch out. With @sboots the Yukon might be a challenger in a year or two.
