My #inktober sketch for days 3 and 4. It took me two days to finish this one, and panel 3 incorporates some earlier work because I'm lazy.

Bruce Wayne giving a TED talk. He says: "Today I want to tell you why people call me Batman. When I was a boy, my parents were murdered in front of me by a desperate addict. As I stood there in shock, I saw a swarm of bats and I understood what I must do. You see, bats also live precarious lives. The only way they survive the winter is to huddle together and share warmth. I used my vast wealth to lobby politicians to raise taxes on the rich and increase social spending. I built a public mental health and addiction facility. Wayne Enterprises developed renewable energy sources that cleared the dark skies over Gotham City. Universal Basic Income and new gun control laws reduced poverty and violent crime to an all-time low. All inspired by our friend, the bat. Any questions?"

A reporter asks "Mr. Wayne, are you saying that bats inspired you to be a socialist?"

He replies: "Well, my other option was to build high-tech weapons, dress up like a bat and go out at night to punch the mentally ill."

As the audience laughs at the idea, he thanks them for coming to his TED talk.
