@Bri So we apparently have to use it for class and I've literally been putting off all of these assignments because I'm scared, did one today and tried using it and it sucked and caused VO to just epically crash. Never touching it again.
@Bri On the bright side by the end of this, hopefully I'll be more familiar with C and Java, as well as actually understanding more git commands other than "git clone" lol.
@Bri How do you live? VO always interrupts itself when there are many terminal messages coming in quick succession, making it unusable in this use case. To be honest, TDSR is what makes software development possible on Mac for me.
@miki @Bri Honestly I just interact with the output and review line by line. Probably not the most efficient way of doing things, but I only started doing software dev recently and mainly just use VS Code.
@BorrisInABox Oh yeah I tried exiting, big mistake lol. Had to quit Terminal. Thankfully I had the good sense to edit all my files in Textedit before giving it a shot, because I figured it would be problematic.
I really don't much enjoy using voiceover in terminals generally speaking. IT's a little better if you change... something, I don't remember now. Terminal being emulated? Something about colors?
@BorrisInABox At least on latest version of sequoia, it seems to be slightly better, but I haven't really configured anything. I have to use it a lot more for classes now, so I'll look into getting TDSR to hopefully make the experience less painful and more enjoyable. Sometimes I think I should've just stuck with music production, got my masters in that rather than CS, but here we are.
@BorrisInABox Honestly don't feel too bad, even with all my education, I still don't have a steady job. Hoping this masters will go some way towards solving that, but who knows.

I actually prefer it over nano while working in terminals, as it generally tracks better. And, all important, I have learned how to exit it.
