Hey Fediverse, I need #
help. I have a #
Dell #
Latitude 5431 machine which started driving me nuts. Although I use an external USB sound card, it first corrupted my audio, making it unpleasantly boomy (I use a screen reader). Okay, I downloaded Dell Optimizer, disabled all optimizations and now the sound itself returned to normal. However, the PC keeps automatically swapping audio channels quite frequently. Probably it's not a big deal for most people, but I'm blind and rely almost exclusively on sound, this really annoys me. Even if I write to Dell's tech support, I don't have steps to reproduce, it happens arbitrarily and I cannot make it happen on purpose. Any suggestions, ideas, anything is hugely appreciated. Thank you!
