Dear #blind folks, what do you use for taking notes on #Windows and/or #web? Don't tell me please about Drafts, Ulisses and other Apple-only stuff, I'm not committed to use iPhone for such things. Thanks! #Accessibility

If you sync your documents folder with OneDrive, you can then access the wiki file from anywhere. Your notes are saved to a single HTML file.

It’s not online, though, and doesn’t do spell-checking, cross-platform sharing or anything like that. Literally an electronic version of a pencil and paper.
Obviously there are far more comprehensive solutions out there, but sometimes I just want a reliable notepad with no special views or anything. MemPad provides a standard Windows tree view control to list your notes and a standard multi-line edit control to type into.
There's a hotkey for today, so you can always jump to either a fresh, blank page or your current day's notes.
A file (I prefer to think of them as books) of notes is independent, so you can't search across notebooks, but you can search through one easily enough.
It's a simple, no frills, lightweight tool with a file format spec for you to take data out if needs-be.

There are also a ton of of shortcut keys you can pick and choose from at support.microsoft.com/en-us/of…
Finally I'd suggest the introduction to One Note webinar from Freedom Scientific. It'll help even if you aren't a JAWS user. freedomscientific.com/webinars…
