I just got my #Unihertz #JellyMax. First impressions are good. It feels nice in the hand, and the included case is helpful. The box also included a 66w USB c charger, which most don’t these days. The lack of a 3.5mm jack is a downgrade from the Jelly Star for sure, but they do include an adapter in the box so I can’t falt that.

@Mendi_Tech It's a smaller Android phone. The screen is about 5 inches, but it has pretty impressive specs for the price. For example, a 100 pixel camera. That too is just bananas. unihertz.com/products/jelly-ma…

@Mendi_Tech Oh does it? Worked really well for picking up qr codes. Haven't done anything else with it though.

@mcourcel @Mendi_Tech The only poit to having such a high mp count camera is for pixel binning to enable higher quality pictures. Unihertz didn’t get the memo on how that works.

Wait until you see how long the battery lasts. It's bananas.

@mcourcel Honestly, after just a few hours, I’m not impressed. I can’t download files from Telegram, and Talkback performs terribly. typing is awful, and the screen registers ghost taps. It’s heavier and bulkier than the z flip, not to mention bigger.

@mcourcel Not to mention the janky setup experience that wasn’t in English. It doesn’t look like I’ll be keeping this phone.
in reply to aaron

Hmm, weird. That's definitely not the experience I've had up to now.

@mcourcel Yeah my experience seems to be pretty unique. I can only comment on that, however, and it sucks.

@mcourcel Having used this for a bit longer, i’m liking it more.dochs scratch really easily, so from now on it will be staying in a case.

@mcourcel The battery is no better than the z flip. This device isn’t worth the compramises. The Jelly Star was because of its size. The max does not have the same going for it.

I also got the cross-body strp, but have no idea how that will keep your phone stable when you strap it in. It's very odd.
