If you’re buying a new iPhone this year, and your current phone is updated to #iOS26, you need to perform an extra step if you're going to trade in, sell or give away your current phone. In settings, you'll need to turn off stolen device prtection. If you don't, the phone will prompt a 1 hour security delay when you go to erase it. That is all!
