Lol, did you read that Slate article? Because I saw that same heading, and thought, yep, I have one, and thanks for confirming it's working. Hit "Close" and proceeded to read the article. PiHole is fantastic. I have you to thank for introducing it to me years ago.

@walkside3 I've now been using PiHole for nearly ten years. There are other, similar things around now, but, considering the combination of PiHole+unbound, with redundant servers, I'm not too bothered about messing with any of them at this time.

I have two local PiHoles, and keep the blacllists and whitelists synced between them. Each PiHole also has Unbound as it's upstream. My DHCP server then hands out both local PiHoles as primary and secondary DNS.
