Urgent action needed to save secrecy of correspondence in the #EU:
Write to your country's delegates to stop plans for "client side scanning" of your devices, your photos, your family chat by some central entity.
It cannot hurt to send a (polite) letter before Wednesday 19, 2024 (day of the vote in the council).

1) This is incompatible with EU law.
2) There are other ways to fight crime.
3) Backdoors will actually make people at risk of abuse less safe.
4a) It is not technically viable.
4b) Even if it were, the end does not justify the means.
5a) This will critically impact innocent citizens.
5b) This will critically impact journalists, attorneys.
6a) The world is watching your move. Do basic rights actually inform EU policy?
6b) It will serve as a blueprint for autocracies.
