Today, I was contacted by someone who is researching their ancestors and discovered that our family trees intersect. Her family ended up with the Czech phonetic transcription Ajšman, while our family ended up with the German transcription Eischmann. Our common ancestor was named Tomáš Aišmon and was born in 1728.

#MyHeritage has a new feature called Cousin Finder, which finds your relatives through shared ancestors. It found me a 'cousin' with whom I share an ancestor born in 1622. That's a rather extreme cousin search. 😄
