The right likes to claim that the left is taken over by a βwoke mind virus.β But they fail to look in the mirror at their own obsessive attacks on anything in our broader culture that they perceive as tinged with βwokeness.β
Whether itβs corporations, movies, or beer, the right sees U.S. culture slipping away from them. This attack on βwokeβ is their sad attempt to cling to a world they feel should rightly be theirs.
But in so doing, often they canβt even agree on what is βwokeβ and what is βanti-woke.β Or what the terms even mean.
