V posledni praci pred Unreleased jsem bojoval proti pouzivani null vs 0 k ulozeni vyznamu u typu number. Marne. Je to soucast TS a musime s tim zit, ac si tak plnime codebase naslapnymi minami.
V UR zacinam pouzivat na podobne problemy type guardy. Je to opomijena featura, ktera naprosto opravnene vyvolava emoce typoveho silenstvi a pomalosti psani kodu.
Samotneho by me to samozrejme nenapadlo. V tymu pritvrzujeme lint pravidla. Tak mi nic jineho nezbyva.

We’ve submitted a formal petition to cancel the JavaScript trademark: it is generic, Oracle has abandoned it, and Oracle committed fraud on the USPTO during the last trademark renewal.
Oracle has until January 4th to respond, or the case will go into default, which will result in the trademark being canceled.
It's time to #FreeJavaScript.

Hey folks, finally got my resume into shape and figured I'd try to #getfedihired.
Looking for a tech job doing backend work--I can do full-stack but being #blind means I'm going to struggle more with UI. I'm proficient in #Rust, #Elixir, #Golang, #TypeScript, and a handful of other languages. I have Android experience as well, and have done fun accessibility-related projects like writing an Android screen reader from scratch or adding screen-reader-like functionality to multiple game engines.
I don't mind big tech too much but am looking to switch away to something more co-op/non-profit if possible. It'd be nice to use my tech skills for good, not just for some investor's benefit. Good work/life balance is also a must--I don't live to work, I work to live.

@anna with friends organized a private Christmas concert.
I made for them a #SongBook web called #Cacofonix.
It shows the introduction of performers, a list of songs, song descriptions, song lyrics and also tells you what song is now performed.
It's written in #TypeScript, frontend is #NextJs, backend is #PayloadCMS, data is stored in #MongoDB. It communicates using #GraphQL.

Requesting help - trying to set up typescript-language-server (github.com/typescript-language…) and every time I run yarn it seems to run an extra script. I can't figure out where that's happening. Could someone more experienced take a look?
