Aged 42 I've developed a shoplifting habit. Always at the self scan in the supermarket, a card here, pack of biscuits there. Recently managed to get a £15 cheese advent calendar in. Staff are so overworked they just approve everything. Not struggling financially, just bored.
If you want to rebalance your karma, two fesses back there's a step son in need of a new toothbrush...
V polovině 19. století navrhl Charles Babbage stroj, který mohl změnit svět. Nešlo o pouhý mechanický kalkulátor, nýbrž rovnou o první programovatelný počítač.

@bermudianbrit 90% accurate, gets all the major points right. I wouldn't focus on Gdansk here, but ehh journalists do what they do, it isn't a modern article if it doesn't describe what kind of Latte the interviewee was drinking during the interview.
@bermudianbrit I'd say Gdansk is actually a bad example. I don't live there, but from what I hear, it's basically the "weekend town" for rich people from Warsaw, mostly due to its proximity to both the sea and the capital, and that drives prices (and especially rents) up. The thesis of the article is actually much more accurate for other cities.
