I'm seeking recommendations for two different categories of blogs for my RSS reading.
First, I'm looking for any blogs that post reviews of Doctor Who media, such as Doctor Who Verdict.
Second, I'm looking for bloggers who write about blindness assistive technology, not only for myself but also for my Tech-VI announcement service.

Reminder: Doctor Who magazine is included with an Apple News+ subscription. As a blind person, it's likely the most accessible way to read DWM. The Doctor Who Magazine app is somewhat accessible on iOS but ANP is still better, although it doesn't seem to have the special editions. #DoctorWho

Resurrection of the Daleks first aired 41 years ago on this day in 1984. This action-packed 5th Doctor story from the 21st season saw the return of the Daleks and Davros. This exciting adventure was also Janet Fielding’s swansong as Tegan. #DoctorWho

Remembering Elisabeth Sladen (1st February 1946-19th April 2011), who played Sarah Jane Smith. She was my favourite #DoctorWho companion, it was lovely when she returned in School Reunion (2006), and went on to have her own series The Sarah Jane Adventures.

First things first, but not necessarily in that order.

You know the very powerful and the very stupid have one thing in common. They don't alter their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their views, which can be uncomfortable if you happen to be one of the facts that needs altering.

This was a great find. If anyone knows when this was recorded, I'd love to know. This is "an Hour With Jon Pertwee" and it's just him, in front of a live audience, telling stories about his life. He mentions traveling to a Doctor Who convention so it's definitely sometime past 1970?

Yes, there certainly are #DoctorWho fans out here; pleased to meet you.
I actually don't have a favorite Doctor; I like them all equally, except for the current one. However, I do have a favorite DW era, which consists of the fifth Doctor and the first season of Six. Davison was my first Doctor and the storytelling from that time period is just my favorite.

Any #Whovians out there? Who is your fave #Doctor?

I'm equally split between #ten and #eleven. #twelve eventually grew on me, but it took a while! Mixed feelings about #thirteen's personality but #JodieWhittaker gave a great performance!

BBC's Doctor Who Classic channel has changed it's handle name, so the old links won't work.

Here's the current working link:

youtube.com/@ClassicDoctorWho/…

It's a strange mix of serials that they've decided to post so far.

If you are new to "Classic Who", I'd recommend checking out Genesis of the Daleks, or Day of the Daleks.

If you want to check out some under-rated serials, maybe check out Warriors of the Deep or Underworld.

I hope one day there's a Doctor Who film like Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story about Tom Baker's life.

We need a Tom Baker feature documentary.

This is probably already known by most fans of Star Trek and Doctor Who but I just learned that David McIntee passed away last month. I remember him at one of the Gallifrey conventions and he was quite enjoyable. I so far haven't read any of his books but I definitely plan to do so.

David A. McIntee has passed away.

Doctor Who: How many times have the Daleks been destroyed “forever”? blog.lovarzi.co.uk/daleks-dest… #DoctorWho

For readers with a qualifying print disability, the following Doctor Who books were recently added to Bookshare.

Who Goes There: Travels Through Strangest Britain In Search Of The Doctor by Nick Griffiths
The author of Dalek I Loved You charts his travels through England and Wales tracking down locations used in Doctor Who, both classic and new. Being an odd kind of show, Doctor Who&’s locations too are odd. This is no glamorous trip. Dungeness Nuclear Power Station, anyone? A flooded china clay pit in Cornwall? As he travels, so Nick Griffiths discovers another side to his well-trodden country, which is no less evocative. Then he goes to the pub. As in his previous memoir Dalek I Loved You, the travel writing is backed up by Nick&’s childhood reminiscences and contemporary musings. A companion website offers photographs from the trip, a Google map of the locations, and details of the nearest pub. In this innovative way, readers are invited to follow in his footsteps. Who Goes There isn&’t just for Who fans, it&’s a very funny book for anyone who fancies a trip off the beaten path. Praise for Dalek I Loved You &“A very funny book for anyone who grew up wearing Tom Baker underpants. I know I did.&”—David Tennant &“An unadulterated nostalgia-fest written with fun, wit and love.&”—Doctor Who Magazine &“He conjures up just how mind-blowing it was for an ordinary suburban kid to be transported to a realm of danger and rampant sci-fi imaginings.&”—Financial Times &“If I am getting carried away, it is the fault of Griffiths&’s awfully charming memoir of boyhood and Doctor Who, with its deft evocations of eight-year-old invincibility and embarrassing school discos as well as arguments about Cybermen vs Autons or Jon Pertwee vs Tom Baker. Griffiths&’s chatty, self-deprecating style is disarming.&”—The Guardian

I think it is time for some Doctor Who. Somehow, I always run to the Doctor Who universe when I feel sad, or any feeling that makes me feel down, and then, I don't feel that way, so I suppose, Thanks, Doctor! :) #DoctorWho You are the best. I am jlad and appreciate this, as silly as it may sound to some. But Doctor Who is my help a lot of the time. It makes me think deeper, and find the positives in the world, it's a good show, books, and audio dramas. Basically, Doctor Who FTW! :)

Wishing a happy birthday to Geoffrey Beevers, who played the Master in the 4th Doctor's penultimate story The Keeper of Traken (1981) #DoctorWho

RIP Barbara Clegg. Wish she'd written more #DoctorWho. 'Enlightenment' was so imaginative and original. A last gasp of the more thoughtful and conceptual style of DW story for a while, as mad scientists, mercenaries, and mutants became the show's main preoccupation. (NGl, I like a lot of that stuff, too, but I prefer a mix of styles.)

I see there's rumours of a Doctor Who theme park, which makes me think how much fun it would be to have a Dalek Meet And Greet, like in the Doctor Who Magazine comic Liberation Of The Daleks. #DoctorWho

“I am a citizen of the universe, and a gentleman to boot! Remembering the late William Hartnell, who played the first Doctor, born on this day in 1908. #DoctorWho

I watched #TheWarGames - in black and white!

I think it's wonderful; how the story morphs and grows as the serial progresses, how it ends its era dropping so many threads that would be picked up in #DoctorWho future by keeping things vague enough to be developed, rather than be dead ends.

Remarkably for a 10-parter it in no way drags, even the run about eps have a [sort of] point and develops that widening story.

The ending ep kills me and I love and despair at Jamie and Zoe's ending. Especially Zoe's; she grew a lot in her time and it's all gone and she knows, some part of her at the end KNOWS she's forgotten something and I hate it and love it. #DoctorWhoRewatch
