Only core apps can use the Online Accounts, because it contains the GNOME keys for those services (unless you build it yourself and replace them with your own). This means that any app that violates the TOS of a service will end up with the GNOME keys revoked.

We are trying to replace the current implementation with something that allows enrolling app keys, but it's still a work in progress.
