I generally agree with the idea of "nothing about us without us". You do want to make sure that your actions actually help people you advocate for, so at least consulting with the appropriate communities should definitely be done.
Which I did, through posting about my work with relevant hashtags, so, you know. Doing my best here, I suppose.
