I like the early #accessibility tips from fedi.tips/mastodon-and-fediver… especially the bits at the end where admins can add CSS to help support their authors to create better content.

I wonder if there are more tools to help authors create more accessible content. #ATAG 2.0 is really powerful, yet old school social media hasn't adopted it.

@blindscribe Still not good enough particular on video. I burn subtitles on my videos, but to comply with the file size limitations on mastodon, the subtitles are almost impossible to read.

@blindscribe @redcrew @david The server shouldn't fail to load my video in the first place. I have no interest o PeerTube (where some videos also fail to play) and YouTube (the home of web hate and conspiracy theories).
