Supporting Authors to Produce More Accessible Content for VA.gov - GovLoop

VA.gov was recently recognized for its hard work improving user accessibility. Since veterans are more likely to have visible and invisible disabilities than other demographics, enhanced accessibility was an especially worthy goal.

@ewaccess Interesting that the post says the VA is highlighted as doing well. In a presentation recently I heard that they were experiencing increased scrutiny and criticism. If Mike is working on it that would give me relief. 😉

@listening @ewaccess There was a report about VA.gov making improvements. The VA in general is another matter.

There's definitely work to be done, but there is at least one good team in the VA that is starting to see some progress.
