@jpmens yes, it counts the lines in the "raw" curl.1 - it's a bit of a blunt thing to do, but we have roughly the same approach to it through the times so it is a decent way to plot the growth
Hmm, actually not sure if lengthy man page is a good thing on its own. Manuals can be extensive and complete but they can also be repetitive, redundant or clobbered.
Maybe the ratio of lines/number of curl options would be a more revealing indicator? When options go up the man page should also go up. If options stay the same but man page grows/shrinks it's getting more/less extensive.
Maybe a graph with absolute numbers of lines and options as well as the ratio combined?
