Reminds me of when the dev-team at a former employer learned the hard way to avoid using GET for destructive actions.

A web-crawler that respected the HTTP conventions walked all the links on some public-facing instances, and wiped out most of the content.

The next release updated the remove-this-item forms to use DELETE :)

will you please implement telemetry in curl to find those that use it wrong, then drive to their home and yell at them in person?
