I'm just curious, how would the curl development changed if major corporations started supporting it? Let's say, what curl would look like if it had 1 million, 100 million, 1 billion dollar annual budget coming from donations?

@3timeslazy I think two primary benefits: we would be able to pay more developers (increased bus factor and more) and curl would have a higher chance of existing multiple years into the future.

@philip not exactly. I'm involved in both but they are different companies with different people and I happen to be the overlap.
