there are some nice self-hosted options these days like Gitea for git. And I can’t count on my hands the open source ci/cd projects out there. if you run on a non-US managed Kubernetes cluster, could be quite reliable too.

I’m not suggesting curl do that right now, just saying it’s a lot more feasible than say 10 years ago.

What about having an official mirror on codeberg (if you don’t have this yet). I don’t know if you use github issues, but maybe those could be synchronised as well. I’m not sure if codeberg provides support for “read only” mirrors somehow.

Then once that’s rolling, maybe a release could be cut from codeberg, to see what works/what doesn’t, etc.
