The abstract explains that there is a formal philosophical definition of the term bullshit which is anything that is indifferent to the truth. Because the large language models do not care about the truth, and only about sounding plausible, they are formally within the realm of philosophical bullshit. The screenshot includes the first two paragraphs of the introduction. The first one explains what large language models are and the second one focuses on how they operate independently from assessment of thruthfulness.
