That's how I have it set up, gts listens, say on port 6789, and Apache is the reverse proxy. Two important considerations: bind gts to 127.0.0.1, otherwise it could be reached from foreign hosts without encryption via http, not https. But, do use https on the gts config for the URL, as this is what GTS uses to construct its internal links.
