Now all major browsers #Chrome, #Safari, #Edge and #Firefox support #AVIF #image format, that's the format to use. #PNG, #JPEG and #WebP are basically out.

not PNG and WebP when it comes to lossless images. PNG for lossless with high bit depth/color-range, WebP otherwise.

AVIF is only good for lossy compression with smear/blur artifacts.
