My first potential office job was a call centre. Walking around at interview, they were all so proud of the shared space, the open nature, etc etc.
All I thought was how sorry I felt for the people on the other end of the phones fighting through all that background noise, and secondarily worried how I'd find my own spot as a blind person in this massive open space.
