It's quite sad that this junkyard has a better urban network then an average americal city or suburb:
- it has a dense, organic road network - all amenities are close to each other - there is plenty of room for shortcuts for soft mobility (pedestrians and cyclists); there are little dead ends - the organic forms encourage car traffic to go slowly
I'm only doubting about public transport, but I do see some busses though
You need to use your fantasy for those amenities, but if you'd have a dense, urban area like this a bakery, convenience store,... would pop up after a while
